Our counseling services are designed specifically for survivors of domestic violence who need more than a safe place - they need a safe person to talk to. We offer trauma-informed individual counseling and support groups so you can sort through the fear, confusion, grief, and anger that often follow abuse.
In one-on-one sessions, you work with a counselor who understands power and control, trauma responses, and the realities of trying to rebuild your life. Together, you can process what happened, learn healthy coping skills, and rebuild your sense of worth.
Our groups give you a space to connect with other survivors who "get it" without judgment. Many women tell us that hearing "me too" helps them feel less alone and more hopeful.
Counseling is available to women in our shelter, in our transitional housing program, and to survivors in the community. Contact us to explore which counseling option is the best fit for you.
Share your situation or questions, and our confidential support team will respond as soon as possible with options for safety, shelter, counseling, or partnership information for professionals.
